WASHINGTON DULLES INT’L AIRPORT (KIAD)

Serving people is what I do best, what I love most, and what I have successfully done, one way or another, my entire life.

I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, near Washington Dulles Int’l Airport (KIAD). As a young boy I watched the Concorde arrive and depart KIAD. Fascinated by airplanes, I began flight training at a young age, and I obtained a private pilot license at 17 years old.

I continued my education at university, earning a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics.

I have been an FAA certified flight instructor, radio/TV pilot, and piloted large transport category aircraft in scheduled operations for Northwest Airlines, TWA, and American Airlines.

Later, I worked for the U.S. federal government, serving the following analytical roles: Aeronautical Analyst, LIDAR, Geospatial Analyst (GIS), and EO / hyperspectral Imagery. I served in all three roles while living and working on four continents.

I recently transitioned out of government service to pursue my passion – serving people with behavioral health challenges, specifically substance use disorder. I even get paid to do it. Imagine that!

Currently, I work in various multi-disciplinary roles at Sana Lake Recovery in St. Louis, Missouri. Sana Lake’s people, and full-sectrum continuum of care are second to none. Come check us out!
